Don't come back to your locked bike only to find a sad frame missing its wheels and saddle. ABUS's NutFix system protects wheels and seat posts against theft using a physical trick. Thieves don't know the trick, but you do, so you can open them with a standard wrench. Seat post clamp locks include the post clamp as well as fixing bolt and nut.

ADDITIONAL SECURITY Our popular ABUS frame lock adapter chain is now available with IvyTex technology.The innovative IvyTex cover is dirt and moisture repellent and even better: it helps to increase protection as the synthetic material slows the penetration of cutting tools. Underneath is a square profile chain made of hardened steel alloy. The chain can be connected to a number of ABUS frame locks and to the Alarmbox 2.0. It serves as additional security, for example to chain the bike to a fixed object with a pre-assembled frame lock. An additional key is not necessary for the plug-in chain. The key of the spoke lock opens and locks both components.The IvyTex connection chain is available in different lengths, chain link thicknesses and even colors. A Material That Offers Resistance The concept that the IvyTex technology is based on has already been in use for several years in industrial applications in areas subjected to high wear, where moving parts have to be protected against wear and tear. ABUS has taken advantage of this concept by using it in the sleeves for its chain locks. The effect of this is twofold: it provides protection against wear and tear, as well as preventing the chain from causing damage to the bicycle. IvyTex technology has many other benefits aside from its durability. The hi-tech fabric is also highly flexible as well as weatherproof and resistant to liquids. This prevents water from being absorbed by the fabric, thereby protecting the locks against corrosion. Bar Tape Clips are simple little plastic replacements to the dreaded electrical tape that's often used to finish off wrapped bars. These clips work with one or two internal cables, either on oversized 31.8 bars (where it tapers down to 28.6) or old-school 28.6 bars.

The Sport is basically a modified Dave-O shape, made of nylon-reinforced plastic. Sports are as tough as nails and hold bottles well in all conditions and any application. They have two sets of mounting holes to allow the best fit possible. We consider this cage as good as anything we make, it's just made out of different stuff. - Weight: 47 grams

The Dual is small enough to nestle under a seat without scraping against your thigh, yet it's big enough to hold two 700C tubes and two CO2 cartridges, plus an inflator. So, why two spare tubes? Because you never know what's up the road, and it's nice to know that you're prepared. That extra tube will make the rest of your ride that much more enjoyable knowing that you won't have to use your cell phone if another flat occurs. - 27 cubic in.

The Uno is small, with only enough space for a road inner tube plus gas and maybe a couple of Allen wrenches. It also fits under the saddle nicely when cinched tight. It rides horizontally while our other bags hang vertically. - 16 cubic in.

Rubber Gecko is a cushy bar tape made with foam and an outer layer of natural rubber. Rubber Gecko offers a soft tactile grip with a bit of give to it. It wraps slightly fatter than our original gecko grip, but not by much. Perfect for the rainy, cold cobbled classics.

The Tubi is sized for tubular or "sew-up" tires. The Tubi has a side pocket if you prefer to separate your money, I.D. or keys. It's skinny, so as not to touch you or your expensive Euro shorts. - 45 cubic in.

The Bando combines the security and styling of our top-of-the-line Mandible, with the affordability of our entry-level cages. The Bando Cage allows the user to adjust the level of bottle cage security to match the ease of use desired by selecting one of the two different silicone rubber bands included. The cage functions normally with no band. The bottle releases with the gentlest of tugs and flows out of the cage. Of course security is at a minimum, so this setting is only recommended for casual riding. With the Thin Band installed, you can expect the bottle holding security that Arundel is known for. The grip level is just below our top model of cage, the Mandible. For more extreme riding conditions or applications, use the Thick Band. The cage becomes a fortress, unlikely to give up a bottle without a fight. Certainly among the most secure bottle cages ever made. - Weight: 51 grams with the thick band installed

Gecko Pave is a fabric and EVA foam base bar tape, topped with a layer of printed silicone. Applying a thin layer of silicone made it possible for us to produce a bar tape that is of similar weight to our Gecko Grip, while retaining the grippiness and overall feel of a pure silicone tape.

To keep your Avid brakes functioning properly, check your pads for wear and replace them when necessary. Organic compound pads are softer for quieter braking and increased modulation, while metallic pads dissipate heat better and last a bit longer. Two pads, one retraction spring and a mounting bolt are included (enough for one brake) in each pad set. And, choose an aluminum backing plate if you're really counting the grams.
