Juniors' Stage Race

Juniors will have a road race first, on a new course, on Saturday morning. The time trial will be on the Wilson Hollow course, but will be in the afternoon. Parking and check-in will be at the same location as the adults. The criterium will be in downtown Walla Walla with the adults.
Juniors will race an omnium. Scoring will be by points. Racers may choose which races to enter.
Junior gears will be checked. Check the USA Cycling rulebook at www.usacycling.org for the regulations.
Coaches and parents will guide junior racers to their start on Main Street in downtown Waitsburg, one block west of Coppei Ave. The start will be close to the bridge at the north end of town.

The first half mile will be neutral until after crossing the railroad tracks. The tracks are very rough and at a high angle. Walking across may be advisable.
Junior A and B's will encounter two left turn corners at the bottom of descents. The first is 15.5 miles into the race. The second is 26.5 miles after the start. Caution is advised. Junior A's will encounter the turns twice, since they are doing the loop two times.
Junior C's will have one left turn at the bottom of a descent. It is at 16.5 miles. Caution is advised.
The start will be on 8th St east of Coppei Ave (the same start location as the adults).

The criterium will be located in downtown Walla Walla. The start/finish will be at the intersection of Main and Colville Streets.
